In 2003, the Moses, David, and Andrew Schwartz families (along with several other families) moved to Frankfort, Ohio to establish a Mennonite church in Ross County. The Schwartz brothers were carpenters in Somerset, Ohio for most of their lives. With growing families, they envisioned a business that would include their children.
In the spring of 2005, they purchased the parking lot of the 35 Raceway and built an 8000 sq. ft. bakery, deli and bulk food store. They opened in November of that year. As with any new business, the first years were a little tough but the Lord has blessed them with enough.
Moses is the general manager of the store and his son works in the sales area. Dave is the baker along with his four daughters, Heidi, Jana, Laura, and Kate, plus a few other employees. Andy runs the deli, meat and cheese department. His four young boys can’t wait to get old enough to help him.
The brothers invite you to stop in soon. They are friendly and always work to provide high quality products at fair prices. They are open from 8:30am-5:30pm Monday through Friday and 8:30am to 4:00pm on Saturday. They accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and also the Ohio Direction Card.
